Because of the increasing quantity and quality of submissions we are receiving, we will now be able to publish two issues of Measure a year. Beginning with the fall 2008 issue (Vol. III, Issue 2), Measure will appear biannually, offering our readers even more of the excellent poetry we hope they have grown accustomed to seeing in our pages.

Thanks for your interest in Measure, a journal dedicated to publishing the best metrical, English-language verse from both the United States and abroad. Each issue, we will strive to bring you the best new poetry from both established and emerging writers, and we will also reprint a small sampling of poems from the best books of metrical poetry published the previous year. Likewise, each issue will include interviews with some of our most important contemporary poets and also offer short critical essays on the poetry that has helped to shape the craft.

Sincerely,
The Editors
